I believe in detox drinks for healthy weight loss. Losing weight and most importantly maintaining it, it’s not easy. To me it all starts with cleansing your body.

Our immune system needs caring and attention, especially when we sometimes consume foods that are not the best to maintain the healthy lifestyle we desire.

I believe the first step to weight loss is by cleansing our immune system. Because by maintaining a clean and healthy diet, plus a work out series suitable to your needs and conditions, you’ll be on your way to a more calm, happy and active life.

Detox drinks help settle your stomach and most importantly control extra fat deposits.

Lemon, Ginger and Cayenne Pepper Morning Detox

To start your detox days, it’s best to go for something that is going to help with digestion and start removing extra fat that has accumulated where we don’t need it.

Ingredients:

1 Lemon

1 Cup of Boiled Water

½ Teaspoon of Cayenne Powder

1 Teaspoon of Ginger Powder or 2 Tablespoons Turmeric

Directions:

Add the lemon juice into the water, while it’s still hot.

Add the powders, mix it all well.

You can add extra lemon pieces for an extra punch.

You can drink it warm or put it in the freezer for 30 minutes and enjoy.

If you can’t find ginger powder, you can boil some water and add pieces of ginger root to it while it boils. Use that water to substitute the powder.

Gingered Cleanse

Ginger is a natural antibiotic. Plus is a natural anti-inflammatory. Therefore, it’s great for digestion and soothes your stomach.

 Ingredients:

2 Teaspoons Fresh Ginger

2 Cups Frozen Strawberries

1 ½ Cups of Pomegranate Juice

1 Packet Stevia or 2 Tablespoons of Organic Honey

Directions:

Place all the ingredients in your blender.

Blend for 25 seconds.

Green Tea, Lemon, and Cinnamon

Green tea is well known for its antioxidants benefits. The lemon is excellent for removing extra fat deposits. And cinnamon has anti-inflammatory powers.

This detox tea is best consumed warm before breakfast.

Ingredients:

2 Bags of Green Tea

1 ½ Lemon

2 Teaspoons Cinnamon Powder

Directions:

Boil 3 cups of water. When it has boiled add the green tea bags, turn off the heat and cover it. Let it sit for 5 minutes. Uncover it and add the lemon juice and cinnamon powder. Cover again and let it sit for 5 more minutes.

It is best to drink it warm.

Watermelon Cleanse

Watermelon has benefits that help with weight loss. It helps especially with hydration and reduces inflammation.

When on a new work out routine and dietary change it’s important to keep hydrated and energized. Watermelon also helps with relieving muscular soreness.

Ingredients:

¼ Pear, seeded and cut

2 large, fresh Basil leaves, remove the stems

2 Cups watermelon, seeded and cut

Directions:

Place all the ingredients in your blender. Blend for 30 seconds. Drink better mid-morning or mid-afternoon-

Green Special Detox

This detox drink is perfect for weight loss because of the antioxidants that contain. It’s a pure antioxidant fest.

Ingredients:

2 Dates, cut in half

1 Stalk Celery, cut

1 Kiwi, peeled, cut

1 Cup Cabbage, chopped

1 Cup Kale

1 1/3 Cups Hazelnut or Almond Milk

1 Cup Ice

Directions:

Soak the dates in water for 30 minutes. Drain them.

Place all the ingredients, including the soaked drain in your blender. Blend for 25 seconds.
